Private Pilot

The aircraft single engine land (ASEL) private pilot certificate  allows a pilot to operate any single engine land aircraft that they are properly trained for.
  • Must be at least 17 years old
  • Minimum of 40 hours of flight time
  • Minimum of 20 hours of dual instruction
  • Minimum of 10 hours of solo flight
Private pilots may not fly for compensation or hire. However, they may carry passengers as long as they have the appropriate training, ratings, and endorsements. Private pilots must have a current Class III medical exam or basic medical. In addition private pilots must revalidate their pilot certificates every 24 months by undertaking a flight review with a certificated flight instructor (CFI).

Instrument Rating

An Instrument rating is an add-on which allows a pilot to fly in the IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) environment ....weather with reduced visibilities such as rain, low clouds, or heavy haze or fog.
  • Minimum 50 hours of Pilot in Command cross country
  • Minimum 40 hours of simulated/actual instrument time
  • Minimum 15 hours of flight instruction from a CFII
The training provides the skills needed to complete flights without visual reference to the ground, except for the takeoff and landing phases.
This rating requires training by a certificated flight instructor with a special instrument instruction rating (CFII), and completion of an additional written exam, oral exam, and flight test. Pilots applying for an instrument rating must hold a current private or commercial pilot certificate and a medical.

Commercial Pilot

A commercial pilot certificate allows pilots to fly "for hire".
With a commercial rating a pilot can get paid to do things like 
Aerial Photography - Skydiving Drops  Operate Corporate Aircraft   
Pipeline Patrol - Ferry Flights 
 Banner Towing - Crop Dusting  Aircraft Charter 
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Minimum of 250 hours of flight time (50 hours of this may come from an AATD simulator)
       (100 hrs in powered aircraft, 50 hrs in airplanes, 100 hrs as pilot in command - which 50 hrs must be cross-country flight time)
  • Commercial pilots must hold an instrument rating, or be restricted to flying for hire only in daylight, under visual flight rules (VFR), within 50 miles of the originating airport

Multi Engine Private

A Multiengine rating allows operation as a pilot-in-command of an aircraft with more than one engine.
It is the most common example of a class rating. The multiengine rating can be added to a private pilot certificate either with or without instrument privileges 

Pre-course Requirements:

  • Must hold a current Private 
  • A Valid Medical
  • Passport or Birth Certificate with a government issued ID
* you must have your ORIGINAL pilot and medical certificates in your possession at the start of training
This is a 5 day footprint
       but you must allow for 8 days
                We can not control Mother Nature

 3 on-site Multi-engine Examiners
       *exams are conducted after course 
              completion and IACRA sign off

$4950 Course includes course materials, Ground and Flight training

Multi Engine Commercial

A Multiengine rating allows operation as a pilot-in-command of an aircraft with more than one engine.
It is the most common example of a class rating. The multiengine rating can be added to a commercial pilot certificate.

  • A Valid Medical
  • Passport or Birth Certificate with a government issued ID

Airplane Transport Pilot

ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) is the highest level of aircraft pilot license. Those certified as Airline Transport Pilots are authorized to act as pilot-in-command of an aircraft in air carrier service in aircraft with a max gross weight over 12,500 pounds or 5,700 kg and/or over 9 passenger seats.
  • Must be at least 23 years old
  • Minimum of 1,500 hrs of flight time,
    must include 500 hrs of cross-country flight time, 100 hrs of night flying,
    and 75 hrs in actual or simulated instrument flight conditions
  • Must have a commercial certificate and an instrument rating
  • Must have a current Class I medical exam, must renew every six months

       but you must allow for 8 days

Certified Flight Instructor

As a certificated flight instructor, you can build flight experience quickly to meet airline and corporate hiring minimums. Being a certified flight instructor is a challenging and rewarding career that utilizes all you have learned during your own flight training. Flight instructors aim to be role models of the aviation community, sharing knowledge and experience with their students.
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must hold a commercial certificate and an instrument rating
  • Must hold a current Class III medical or basic med
     Our CFI Course includes
  • Up to 10 hours of flight time in our aircraft - includes the use of the airplane for the spin endorsement and checkride
  • over 40 hours of ground instruction
  • All FAA books and training materials
  • A complete set of backseat pilot electronic lesson plans

Certified Flight Instrument Instructor

Adding an instrument instructor rating to your flight certificate allows you to provide instrument training for the issuance of an instrument rating, a type rating not limited to VFR, or the instrument training required for commercial pilot and airline transport pilot certificate. The flight instructor certificate alone does not offer these privileges.
  Our CFII Course includes
  • up to 8 hours of ground instruction from one of our CFII’s
  • up to 5 hours of dual instruction in our AATD flight simulator
  • unlimited solo use of our AATD flight simulator
  • all books and supplies

Multi Engine Instructor

A Multiengine Instructor rating allows instructors to teach students in a multi engine airplane. The multiengine instructor rating can be added to a CFI certificate. Must have 15 hours Multi Engine PIC time prior to checkride. Students can use our airplanes to build multi engine PIC time.
  Our MEI Course includes
  • Includes 5 training flights and a checkride flight of up to 7.8hrs total flight time
  • Must have 15 hours Multi Engine PIC time prior to checkride
  • This is a 5 day footprint but you must allow for 8 days. We can not control Mother Nature
  • 4 on-site Multi-engine Examiners. 
         *note, with few exceptions, exams are conducted in order of course completion and IACRA sign off
