I’m Owen. I’m from Lake Stevens, Washington, and I started my training in Ellensburg, WA. I moved to Ohio in 2024 to finish my ratings with Midwest Corporate Air. I became an instructor in early July. If I’m not flying, you can find me hiking, skiing, watching hockey, or exploring the outdoors.

Student's Success Stories

"Jasett began her aviation journey at the age of 17 through her local flight school in Seattle, WA. Thereon traveling to Arizona, California, and Florida for the rest of her ratings. Since the first takeoff she knew she wanted to become a pilot. After graduating high school, she started flying as much as she possibly could, often flying with friends in formation and to meet up for aviation events. Jasett has been an instructor for over two years. For MCA, the chief instructor for the 174 Urbana Grimes Airport location coming up on 8 months now. Jasett is looking forward to becoming a Seaplane pilot someday maybe in the Bahamas. For now, she is enjoying every hour of the journey. Jasett enjoys time with friends and family. She is active in beach volleyball, snowboarding, and loves relaxing at the beach."
Starting his aviation journey in high school with gliders, Lester quickly developed a love for aviation. After completing his first solo, he transitioned to powered aircraft, earning his private pilot’s certificate before heading to college. He attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida, where he earned a degree in Aeronautical Science.
After Graduating, Lester spent two years as a flight instructor in Florida where he received his Gold Seal Flight Instructor Certificate. Lester moved to Ohio in October 2024 and has been with MCA since. With a strong commitment to safety and professionalism, Lester has mentored many aspiring pilots and is excited to continue sharing his passion for aviation.
My name is Ryan Fogliani, and I am from Washington State. My aviation journey began back in 2020, during the pandemic, when I finally decided to take a discovery flight. Flying is something I've always wanted to pursue, but being a first-generation pilot made it very difficult to figure out the first steps. I finished my Private Certificate in early 2022 before attending college in Arizona and completing my instrument rating in the process. I ended up moving back home in 2023 and continued my education online while completing my Commercial Single Engine Land and Seaplane Ratings as well as my CFI certificate. In the process, I decided to expand my aviation by learning extensive tailwheel and aerobatic flying. I came to Midwest Corporate Air in early 2024 and completed my Commercial Multi, CFII, MEI, and most recently, my ATP ratings. I started working here in 2024, and I couldn't be happier! I've had so many amazing experiences, such as my first aerobatic competition and earning my Gold Seal certificate, but if I had to pick, I’d say my favorite thing about the job is helping each of my students complete their certificates and being a part of their aviation journeys! Currently, I teach mostly in the Twinstar and in the Cirrus aircraft, and I look forward to hopefully flying with you soon!

Jeremy Tovstiga is a dedicated Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) with a lifelong love for aviation. He began his aviation journey in Ontario, Canada, earning his Private Pilot License in 2015, followed by his Multi-Engine rating in 2016 and his Instrument and Commercial ratings in 2021. Committed to sharing his knowledge and love for flying, he achieved his CFI rating in February 2024 and his CFII (Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument) in April 2024 at Midwest Corporate Air.

Before pursuing his aviation dreams full-time, Jeremy spent a decade in manufacturing, but his passion for flight led him to make a bold career shift. Now, as an instructor, he is committed to helping students succeed, holding them to high standards while providing patient, supportive guidance. Known for his kindness and dedication, Jeremy goes above and beyond to ensure his students develop the skills and confidence needed to excel in their aviation careers.

Jeremy’s ultimate career goal is to fly for a Part 121 or Part 135 operation as a professional pilot.

When he's not in the cockpit, you might find Jeremy spending time with his family, baking, or exploring the great outdoors.
Hi! I’m Donghyuk (Dan). I’m originally from Seoul, South Korea and came to the US to attend college at first, then I graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, AZ in 2023. I majored in Aeronautical Science with a minor in Aviation Business Administration. After my graduation, I came to MCA to get my CFI, CFII, and MEI certificates, and started working here from July 2024. I teach in all Diamond aircraft including DA42 and Cirrus. I’m so excited to meet all of you here and please do not hesitate to ask for any help while you’re here!
As a flight instructor at Midwest Corporate Air, I’m passionate about helping students build a strong foundation in aviation. With CFI, CFII and Cirrus TCI certifications, I provide instruction in VFR and IFR operations, focusing on safety, precision, and sound decision making.

My aviation journey began as a Corporate Flight Attendant and developed into a deep love for flight and a drive for independence. After earning my certifications, I gained experience training in a variety of aircraft, including the DA20, DA40, DA42 and Cirrus SR20. I’ve had the opportunity to instruct in different environments, which has shaped my approach to teaching, emphasizing adaptability, confidence, and real world application.

When I’m not in the cockpit or simulator, I enjoy exploring nature, staying active, and continuously expanding my knowledge to grow as both a pilot and instructor.
