Our Past Flight Instructors at Midwest Corporate Air, Inc.

USAF Captain Patrick James

Patrick James is the son of Dave and Lori James of Bellefontaine, Ohio. He graduated from the Benjamin Logan High School in 1999. In 2002, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Embry Riddle University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Science.

Patrick worked as a CFI, CFII from June of 2002 through November of 2004 until he joined the United States Air Force and attended Officer's Training at Montgomery Air Force Base in Birmingham, Alabama. Upon completion, he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant and assigned to USAF Euro NATO Joint Jet (ENJJPT) Pilot Training at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Patrick graduated from ENJJPT in May of 2006 and earned the coveted "Flying Excellence Award". After graduating as "Fighter Qualified" he attended Water and Land Survival training in the summer of 2006. In April of 2007, Patrick became mission qualified in the airplane of his choice, the B-1 Bomber at Dyess AFB, Texas.

From July 2008 through Janurary 2009 Patrick logged over 450 hours of combat time over the skies of Afghanistan in the B1, while stationed in the middle east.

Upon returning from the middle east Patrick completed training at Holloman Air Force Base. Upon graduation in March of 2009, as a Distinguished Graduate (DG), Patrick and his family moved to Las Vegas Nevada, where he has begun his next flying assignment.

Patrick was an outstanding CFI, CFII while at Midwest Corporate Air and is an excellent and loving husband to my daughter, Jenna and father to my grandchildren, Patrick Allan, and twins Nicolas and Noah.
